Legendary Speedway Project
PRT Consulting is leading a team of consultants and experts to investigate the potential of personal rapid
transit to enhance mobility and relieve parking and vehicle congestion in the commercial development area
known as the Legends at Village West near the Kansas Speedway. This commercial development contains
retail, entertainment and community services. Notable facilities also include the Woodlands Race Track and
the Providence Medical Center. Planned development includes a casino. Despite the number of attractions,
the dominant uses of developed land are parking lots and roads, and the principal complaint of patrons is
movement in and about the attractions in the area. More information will be available in our next newsletter.
